I don't have to worry about other users breaking my computer.

We use non-admin accounts for everyone, which is best practice on any operating system, and works great on Macs. Our kids and their friends use non-admin accounts, so they can't mess with the parents' stuff or the system.

It's funny that you sent this now, as I was going to contact you to let you know that over the last several weeks, I really put my Mac to work. I was in the midst of a project most of the time I had many applications open at one time.
Using printing functions, scanning, downloads, in addition to having all my business apps open and not ONE problem. Speed remained excellent, nothing hung up, everything went smoothly. If I would have done this on my PC I probably would have tossed it out the window. On a PC , if too many programs are open it freezes, jams, it was very annoying. I was able to breeze through my project without ever having to worry about my computer. I also have a Mac laptop that I work hard. Using Macs has definitely made my work experience that more pleasurable. I also do graphics and videos as we are photographers.
I look forward to working on it everyday. A must have if you want things to run smoothly all the time. No tech support, no problems, I'm in love.

My MacBook always works. I've been using it for a couple of years now, and the only time it went down was when the hard drive failed. I took it into the Apple Store and they replaced the drive free (I had paid for Apple Care), reinstalled Leopard. I just brought it in to the office and used Time Machine to restore and I was back working within a couple of hours with virtually no lost data.

My Mom's high-end laptop running Windows is in the shop a couple of times a year to get the software fixed up. She gets spyware and other junk on there so often I can't believe it. I have no such problems.

I thought it was time to update. I have my Mac for a year now. I NEVER have problems. It is amazing as I work this baby hard in my daily business. I send email blasts, fax blasts, and so much more.
I have already watched my hubby who has a PC ,catch two viruses (with virus protection) get completely blown out of the water and had to pay for repairs. The PC before that was so messed up he bought the new one. Couldn't talk him into a Mac?
I snicker every time he complains, which is often enough. If you ever need help with your MAC (I have become quite proficient at many program) don't hesitate to contact me.
